Privacy Policy

Powerspeed Taekwondo ("Powerspeed", "we", "us") runs a martial arts school at 5912 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx, NY 10471. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, call us at 430-888-0089 or email info@powerspeedtaekwondo.com.

Information you give us

When you fill in a form on this site, we collect what you type into it:

• your name, mobile phone number and email address;
• the program you are interested in;
• who the class is for and, if it is for a child, the child's age;
• anything else you choose to tell us in the form, such as a message or something that helps us teach a student well.

When you book a trial class, the booking calendar collects the details it needs to confirm your booking, such as your name, phone number, email and the time you chose.

Information collected automatically

If you arrive from an ad or a link that carries campaign tags (for example utm_source or fbclid), the form passes those tags along with your details so we know which ad or link brought you here. We keep them in your browser only for the length of your visit. Our hosting provider also records standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visited, to keep the site running and secure, and that information may travel with a form submission to help us screen out spam.

How we use your information

We use it to:

• reply to you and arrange your trial class;
• call, text or email you about your booking, our programs and the school;
• understand which ads and pages help families find us;
• keep the site and our forms secure and free of spam.

We do not sell your personal information.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number and agree in the form, we may text you about your trial class, bookings and our programs. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything. The Terms page has the full text message terms.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, except the service providers that deliver our messages for us.

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the school, such as our website host and the customer management, booking and messaging platform we use to keep track of enquiries and send confirmations. They may use it only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our students, staff or the public.

Children's privacy

Our forms are meant to be filled in by parents, guardians and adult students. When a form asks for a child's age, it is a parent or guardian who provides it. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us their information, contact us and we will delete it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and booking information for as long as we need it to stay in touch with you about classes and to keep sensible business records. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your choices

• To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message.
• To stop emails, use the unsubscribe link in the email or contact us.
• To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, call 430-888-0089 or email info@powerspeedtaekwondo.com.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, and forms on this site are sent over an encrypted connection. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Links to other sites

This site links to other services, such as Instagram, Facebook and Google Maps. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
