Ages4to7
Little champions
Tiny courage. Big kicks.
Taekwondo for ages 4 to 7. The first lessons are focus, control and listening, and every small step gets noticed.
The approach
Smaller milestones first
At this age a good class is built from small, clear wins. Stand on your spot. Listen for the count. Chamber the kick, then stop it on purpose. Each one is a milestone a young child can feel, and each one gets noticed.
That is how the school works at every level, in its own words: “Smaller Milestones Yield Greater Long Term Results.”
- FocusSimple tasks, done with full attention.
- CoordinationHands, feet and balance learning to work together.
- ControlEvery move matters. Start it on purpose, stop it on purpose.
- ListeningHear the instruction once, then do it.

Inside a little-ones class
Small kicks, big focus
Two clips from the school's Instagram: young students kicking pads and running drills on the blue mats.
A gentle start
A gentle heart counts here too
Some children walk in bold. Some hold a hand at the door. Both are welcome, and both are taught at their own pace. After one little-ones class, the school wrote:
I'm so proud of all of you today. Your gentle heart is your greatest strength. Your tiny courage and big smiles make this room brighter.
Ron has a great understanding of how to work with children with different abilities and needs. He knows how to bring out their individual best.

What families say
Growing up on the mat
I brought my daughter here right before she turned 4. She's now 5.5 and Instructor Ron and his staff have been instrumental in helping her and now my 4 year old son, develop tools for learning discipline, responsibility, and pride in their physical accomplishments.
Instructor Ron has helped my son get stronger, more flexible, and more athletic while simultaneously improving his focus and confidence.
My first grader loves going to class and it's having a very positive influence on his school classroom focus.
My son is 5 years old and attends class 2 times a week faithfully.
From 8 to 13, students train in Kids Taekwondo, where belts, sparring and leadership come in.
